Website hosting and server logs
The website runs on a rented Hetzner server in Germany managed by us. When you visit, technically necessary data is processed, including your IP address, time of access, requested page, HTTP status and browser-provided details such as user agent and referrer. We use this data to operate the website securely and reliably under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Server logs are deleted after 90 days. Hetzner processes hosting data on our behalf.
Consultation enquiries
When you submit the form, you provide your name, business name, email address and a message. All four fields are required to submit an enquiry. We use these details solely to handle your enquiry and contact you. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for steps requested before a contract. The submission goes to an endpoint we operate in Germany. Loco Lokal eGbR receives and stores it in Germany for no more than 90 days.
Language and privacy choices
If you manually select a language, we store that choice locally in your browser (laia.language). We also store your analytics and conversion choices locally so we can follow them. These settings are needed to provide the preferences you request; you can remove them with your browser data. You can change analytics consent at any time through Privacy settings in the footer.
Google Analytics 4
Only after you consent do we load Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-GXT2N5E0WL) to measure page visits and successfully submitted consultation requests. We do not send form entries to Google, and these events do not include URL parameters. Google may store and access identifiers on your device. The legal bases are your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and section 25(1) TDDDG. GA4 retains user-level and event-level data for two months; standard aggregate reports may remain available longer.
Google Ads conversion measurement
Once a Google Ads conversion tag has been configured, we load it only after your separate consent and report a successfully submitted consultation request as a conversion. We do not send names, email addresses or messages. We use this measurement to optimise our ads, not for remarketing. Google may store and access identifiers on your device for this purpose. The legal bases are your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and section 25(1) TDDDG. No such processing occurs until a conversion tag has been configured.
Google as a recipient and international processing
The recipient of analytics and conversion data is Google Ireland Limited. Google may also process data outside Germany and the European Economic Area. The Germany-only commitment for consultation enquiries and server logs therefore does not extend to Google data. More information on its processing and international transfers: Google Privacy Policy.
Changing or withdrawing consent
Use Privacy settings in the footer to allow or refuse analytics and conversion measurement separately, or withdraw consent at any time for the future. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent. Contact [email protected] to exercise these rights. You may also complain to a data protection supervisory authority.
